The airflow straightener allows you to accurately record the airflow with the anemometer, even when the airflow is swirling.

- When measuring a swirling airflow without an airflow straightener, the measurement results may be higher or lower, depending on the direction in which the swirling airflow affects the anemometer sensor.

- The air flow straightener is used together with the Testovent 417 measuring funnel and the Testo 417 air flow meter or the Testo 400, Testo 440 and Testo 480 vane probes (Ø 100 mm).
